Ever have one of those situations where songs are completely relevant to your life? A couple months ago, when Imogen Heap had released her latest album "Ellipse," one of the songs struck me as extremely powerful. The song was...
Wait it Out. Especially the lines "Everybody says 'time heals everything,' but what of the wretched hollow? The endless in-between? Are we just going to wait it out?" It's a beautiful line that sums up life. And it's funny, you know? How people do say that it gets better in time, that everything happens for a reason, "this too shall pass," all that, and it's true and false at the same time. It all depends on how you look at things. If you dwell on it so much that it wraps up your life, you'll never get anywhere. I know this...a little too well.
So...that line is a belief, i guess, if I'm trying to keep with my original theme of this blog. Anyway.
Here is a joyful interlude.
"belief is a beautiful armor, it makes for the heaviest sword,
Like punching underwater you never can hit who you're trying for"
